How do I import a SoundFont?
File → Open, or drag and drop an .sf2 file onto the app window.

How do I export to a different format?
File → Export, then choose your target format.

What's free vs. paid?
Opening, browsing, and editing files is free. Save and Export require a one-time $19.99 in-app purchase.

Where is my sample library stored?
~/Library/Application Support/PolyPhontics2/

How do I use exported SF2/DLS files in GarageBand or Logic?
Place the file in ~/Library/Audio/Sounds/Banks/, then select DLSMusicDevice as your instrument plugin.

How do I restore my purchase on a new Mac?
Open PolyPhontics, try to Save or Export, and click "Restore Purchase" in the dialog. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID.
